Overview
RTP Açores is RTP’s channel giving a voice to the nine islands of the Azores and the people who live there. It reflects everyday life across the archipelago, highlighting its social, cultural and economic diversity, while bringing the islands’ stories, events and distinctive character to mainland Portugal and audiences around the world. RTP Açores ensures that the Azores have a strong presence within Public Service broadcasting, acting as a bridge to the rest of the country and keeping a sense of belonging alive among those who live far from the islands.
